I'm a British journalist visiting the U.S for a month in Feb through March...writing a story about sustainable water.

I've two weeks of work to do and two weeks to enjoy Vegas and LA. I'd love to sort some hikes/climbs/camping/nights out and so am looking for advice from locals who like the same - I'm a first time user of couch surfing so I hope that's how it works!

In England, I live in Battersea, London and work mainly as a freelance sports journalist. Am currently learning Spanish.

Easy going guest, happy to stay in/go out/be completely present/remain completely innocuous.

Half my trip to the U.S is funded (the work half). And half isn't. This will help the second half.
