I'm Fred, 23 years old German, who studied just enough to get a Bachelors degree 2 years ago. I have then taken every opportunity to leave my home country and been travelling through Europe and the World since. Now my next goal is to learn swedish in Sweden, to work and study in Sweden. So I figured a student city like Lund is the right place.
I am a self-proclaimed film connaisseur, video game enthusiast and I also love cooking weird foreign dishes that noones ever heard about. This does not mean I don't enjoy going out with friends occasionally though! I love having a good conversation and I usually have something to say to all kinds of topics. I'm a pretty calm guy and I'm used to share my living space with other people and enjoy living in a shared flat.

Almost all genres of music can be found in my playlists, at the moment I mainly love to listen to chill Indie music, 60s classics, New wave, Techno and some Hip Hop but that can change from month to month; Since I am big Film Geek I love all kinds of movies (I wish I had more time to catch up on a lot of classic movies), amongst my favorites are All Coen Brothers, Studio Ghibli and Tarantino Movies, Modern british classics such as snatch or trainspotting and hundreds more from independent movies to big productions; I try to binge-watch all good tv series the second they are out and my current favorites must be: Fargo, Atlanta and Dark; I am a huge Tolkien fan, especially of the Silmarillion; Fantasy is my favorite genre of books and Pratchett and Sapkowski some of my favorite authors.

I lived in Hong Kong for 4 months and I arrived there without knowing anyone who was about the same age as me. Through luck it took me 1 day to find the group of people I was hanging out the next 4 months and having a great time with. Showed me to not be afraid of taking bold steps to make great experiences!
