I'm Frédéric, 20, from Montréal and currently travelling around europe, mainly to shoot photo and build a portfolio for university application! And of course I also want to meet new people, live new experiences and share along the way! As of right now I've been out for a month, spent 10 days in Iceland, 6 on the road, seeing as much as possible, sleeping in the car (super expensive country!). Than France, I spend a week in the Loire valley, in a big chateau volonteering, shooting photos for them and helping with wine production. I enjoyed Paris for a small week and now here I am, still exploring!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Something I have really been enjoying since I have left home is meeting so many new people, and some of them becoming real friends. Hostels are great for this but it is not always the case, some people can be more into their own thing, which is normal! But I feel like couchsurfing is all about this, sharing and enjoying with others!

Interests

I'm really into photography, like I said before it is mainly why I am travelling right now. I like capturing street action, in the moment things, people and try to show vibes and atmosphere. Other then photography, I'm really into vintage bikes, italian 80' 90' road bikes. I buy them, restore them and sell them. Also modify my own, look for rare part and just gaining more and more knowledge. I do it with my best friend and before leaving for this trip it was about to turn into a business. I really like cinema to, art and litterature which is what I studied back in Québec. Cooking, good beer, urbex, cars, outdooring and much more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Might not sound like much but leaving alone for this trip is a big thing for me! Also financing most of this trip selling bikes!
