ABOUT ME

I grew up in Germany, lived abroad during highschool. I worked for the ecology center in Bonn instead of doing military service. Two months in Valencia boosted my Spanish. By accident I once found out about a distant cousin, I stayed with him in San Francisco for three months and had a great time while defending evictions at a social organization. My studies are about business, and currently I am on the mission to travel the US and hopefully Mexico during my exchange abroad in San Diego

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love travelling and meeting people who share some of my interests, may it be languages, history, business or sports. I hope to have a couch or enough space one day to host surfers. In the meantime I´ll do my best to be a good surfer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It started in Konstanz/Bodensee near Germany wher I went with my friend Jakob and we could spontaneously find a stay after we had a bar tour with two nice folks from there. On a trip to Spain I stayed in Lyon ending up in a huge party with the friends of my hosts. In summer 2013 I did a biketour through the Netherlands with a friend where we surfed at three amazing spots in Groningen, Zwolle and Eindhoven. Great people with various interests, that were so open to show us their life in Holland. In the US my host took me to eat original Buffalo Wings and Ann cooked us southern Jambalaya. CS is great, you get a lot out of sharing a fun time together.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The run in San Francisco from east to west, where everyone gets drinks, runs naked or dresses up funny - It´s called Bay to Brakers

5000 swift birds circulating in the air during sunset for an hour until they funneled into a chimney. There was also a hunting hawk who gave the show a special kick.

I wish I had seen how they grow bulls in Spain. Even though I know bullfighting is not amongst the nicest things, the rites fascinate me.

Walked the West Highland Way with three friends

Biked through the Netherlands with a good friend.

Roadtrip through the US (Grand Canyon, Crater Lake, Mushroom Hunting)

I can fix some bikes and I would like to learn more about that. Also handcraft is very interesting as I build my own lamps. I just refurbished my cousin´s old wooden easy chair.
