My name is Frederik, but goes by Freddy. Currently I'm living in Copenhagen at my friends place, flipping burgers in a cozy burger-joint and hanging out with friends and my darling Emma.

I'm very easy going as a person. I love traveling and meeting Different people. I'm open minded, curious and somtimes a bit distractedly and forgetful, but in a way where I'm aware of it :)

Through spending time together, I think we are expanding our own borders, personally, socially and geographically. That is a wonderful thing.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I believe in the spirit of together. Spending time together, meeting people from countries all over the world, I think we're building on a foundation of understanding. Couchsurfing is such a brilliant website for that purpose. My brother and sister in law who lives in Malmö (Sweden) has as hosts told me about the website and how wonderful it is to have people coming at his door. With this in mind, I would like to embrace and experience the hospitality of others.

I'm always ready to help with the cleaning, cooking, or taking the dishes at my host's place. I like helping.
If you come to Copenhagen as a traveler I'll gladly show you around the city and surroundings.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed one night in Berlin at two German guys. Some of my friends already stayed there for some days, and I was invited. Really nice to see how it works in real life and can't wait to try out for myself:)

My brother and sister in law are often hosts in Malmö and all their good stories from different travelers made me want to couchsurf as well.

In Ireland I was lucky to stay at Aonghus in Connemara. I was there for two weeks, for some work in exhange, that was such a brilliant experinece! In Galway I stayed at Colm and Ray's at two rounds. Lovely, helpful and jolly lads!

I think people are the most important of all of them. When I say people it is more a thing of how it is being human. And how this is expressed.
From literature, music, movies, activism, outdoor activities.
I enjoy reading, about different cultures and religions, Magazines, papers, packaging, books, what ever is around. Otherwise just hanging out. Walking is nice, just like drinking coffee and beer, playing boardgames, especially chess and backgammon. I also enjoy play and watch football!

My taste in music is wide. Music effects my mood, so it depends on the situation.
Groovy, soul, rocknroll, whats not to like. I prefer listening instead of writing about I guess :)

I really like reading! A book I always can read again is Orwell's 1984.

My favorite movies are: Oldboy, City of God, Clockwork Orange and Pulp Fiction.

The Gullfoss waterfall in Iceland is one the most beautiful places I have ever been.

I've performed with mates at Chinas one and only Rock Academy i Beijing. We played covers of Stevie Wonder, White Stripes and Neil Young. All kinds of acts from local death metal, punk and jazz bands we're also playing that night. Incredible to see how music can bring people together. When you can't speak the same language, the music speaks for you!

If you dunno what to cook, bruschetta is always a winner. It's easy, cheap, tastes wonderful and you can put anything you want on top. And you can cook for vegans and carnivores at the same time!
