我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I registered a few years ago, but for some reason I never quite got the hang of how it works and so it fell into oblivion... :D
But I love the idea of getting to know people in their normal live while travelling through their hometowns/place of living and learning about a city through their eyes!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I stayed in a little village on the Indonesian island of Flores without running water and the occasional blackout for two weeks, which was definitely an experience. To see how little people need to be happy and how welcoming and generous they still can be, even if they don't have much themselves, was a great lesson.

I can teach you some useless words in Japanese or Indonesian :D isn't that the reason you study something at University? ;)
I really like to cook, though I'm pretty useless at 'typical German recipes'.
