ABOUT ME

I know very little about the world. I travel to try and make up for this. I travel to try and meet people more than see sights, so I thought couchsurfing sounded brilliant - and where better to start than the friendliest country of all - the US?

PHILOSOPHY

I believe that 95% of people are basically decent, caring and generous, and we far too often are fooled into fearing those we don't know by newspaper headlines. I am going to try and redress the balance in any way possible - Couchsurfing is a great way of doing this. Strangers are just friends we haven't met yet. And as Blake says, everything that lives is holy.

I'm at the stage of life where I have little to teach and everything to learn. On the other hand, if anyone needs to know about the history of Europe and my country of Britain, then I'm happy to oblige.
