I am a born-again nerd. Freethinker. Questioning truth seeker. Curious explorer and a scientist at heart.

I'm from Gothenburg, Sweden and have for the past year been living and working in Izmir, Turkey as an English teacher. I recently returned to Gothenburg and am now finishing my master degree in molecular biology, right now studying biotechnology, and trying to figure out a plan on how to get employed when I'm done :) I'm also currently working as a science teacher at different high schools on the side ;)

I am hugely passionate about travelling, learning new things and new languages, and food!^^ Engaging with people from all different kinds of places and cultures is one of the most rewarding things I know.

Some days my dream is to work with something extraordinary like gene therapy fighting cancer or neurodegenerative diseases, biofortification of crops, or 3D bioprinting human organs. Other days I want to pet pandas for a living or adopt a colony of penguins all while someone is feeding me Chinese dim sum.

I love learning and experiencing new things, and to do this few ways are better than to meet people from different cultures who can share their everyday experience.
