About Me

I'm an open minded person, optimist, smart, independent always ready for a new experience! I like to meet new people, especially person that are different to the "standard model" in my city. I like different cultures and traditions and I enjoy to join them or to exchange mine. Both when I host and when I'm hosted, I like that all people I meet get good memories of me :-) I like to smile, to be ironic and to make jokes, because I think in our life there are too many serious things and we must counterbalance them! :-)
I like crossfit workout, dance Argentine Tango and do meditation (mind training :-) ). I like to speak with people about many arguments, from simple things like their way of life, up to philosophical or psychological arguments! I also like to cook for guests ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

Find the way to live my life following my real will and avoiding all constraints that come from the society and from the people around me. In this way I'm sure I'll best exploit my life, so at the end I will be able to say:"It was worth it!!" :-)

"The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity answered:
“Man sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived.” Dalai Lama

“My idea of life is sobriety. Quite different concept from austerity, a term that you have prostituted in Europe, cutting everything and leaving people without jobs. I consume the necessary but I do not accept the waste. Why when I buy something with money, I don’t buy with money, but with the time of my life that has served to earn it. And the life time is a good for which you have to be stingy. We have to spend it for the things that we like and that motivate us. This time for ourself, I call it freedom. And if you want to be free you have to be sober in consumption. The alternative is enslaving you to work to afford conspicuous consumption, but this takes you away the time to live.” José Mujica (President of Uruguay)

"Many people waste their lives in an attempt to become what they cannot be, forgetting that they are what they could become" Erich Fromm (social psychologist, psychoanalyst, sociologist)

"Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and a conscious stupidity " Martin Luter King

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can host but the days I'm available to host are rare. I host just one person because I have a 2 seats car :-) and because it is easier to get in tune :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I never had a bad experience with Couchsurfing! On the contrary I must say that I had only from nice to marvelous experiences! Mainly I have hosted couchsurfers but soon I'll start to surf couch as well! :-)
When I host I like to have people with interesting profiles because I like to spend some time with them: speaking, knowing each other and hanging out together (if I have time).

Interests

Travel, meet interesting people, sports (to be practiced, not to be watched!), dancing Argentine Tango, listen music, culture in general, cinema, theater, architecture, technology, Buddhism, meditation, yoga, politics..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1) Traveled the world for business reasons.
2) I did a one month solo trip in Indochina: Cambogia, Laos and Thailand. I saw a lot of marvelous places and I met a lot of nice people (also couchsurfers)!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach:
- Angertine Tango
- In line skating
- Swimming, snorkeling
- Cooking :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be a travel mate and tour guide for my guests :-) not only in my city.
I can cook italian meals, practice sports together, go to the beach or to dance Argentine tango.
I prefer to have only one guest per time because I like to spend together and if the guest is alone it's more easy to become good friends :-) In addition I like more solo travelers: they have something more! :-)
When I had 2 or 3 guests together, it happened many times that they spent a lot of time speaking together in their language about their stufs...that's not the best experience...
