ABOUT ME

I enjoy learning new things, and always have my nose stuck in some sort of book, or researching something interesting online. I dabble in herbalism, essential oils, enjoy making homemade bread, growing my own tea, and I find true joy and relaxation creating something in the kitchen. Hobbies are knitting, soap making, gardening, photography, and anything DIY around the house.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would appreciate meeting locals in the places that I visit, and on the flip side, introducing people to the cool places I tend to venture to in my hometown. Although I grew up in El Paso, I now live in a suburb of Fort Worth Texas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I kayaked in the ocean off of Vancouver Island, hiked up to a natural hot spring in the middle of boulders outside Tofino, and pedaled back to my hotel from a winery with a case of wine strapped to the back of the bike in Dijon France.
