ABOUT ME

Being born on CoRoT-Exo-1 b, I was dropped on this planet in Germany. Ever since I have been astonished every day about what is going here. I am due to report regularly to the Council of Interstellar Expeditions, in order for them to form an idea about all the things that need to be changed before they decide when is the best time to form a colony here. In the seventies I was ordered to move to a place known as Belgium, as this seems the place where the most fun is.

Residing in Wilrijk south of Antwerp, but I'm also a walking resident in Klein-Willebroek.
Working interim now and then at DHL and in my spare time I have given three times a course for high sensitive people and am now counseling patients with cancer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm afraid I have the reputation of arriving late on events, even the ones I organise myself...
Rather shy in the beginning, I also tend to be completely overthrown by the beauty of the scene, and forget everything and everyone. I am truly sorry for that.
I also have the reputation of bringing along one or more non-CS members, but they always let me down and don't show up or cancel at the last minute. Sorry for that as well.
After all these excuses, I still think this project is a magnificent idea to get to know all sorts of people at all sorts of places!

I don't travel a lot anymore myself, only onedaytrips and nearby places now where I have found my peace, mainly at the riverside of the Schelde and the Rupel, and in rural areas.

As it is not possible yet to fill out here on what other planets one has couchsurfed, I'll put here the list:

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first event I attended was in the ViaVia Borrelcafé in may 2008.
The first event I organised was a free hug at the Groenplaats, where five people showed up, it was great.
The most beautiful event was the sailing trip I organised on the Rupel and the Schelde in september 2008 with 8 people on motorsailor Merrywind, starting in Klein-Willebroek.
Another great experience was the museumnight in Antwerpen, 16 august 2008, where troughout 3 museums 14 couchsurfers signed their name on my plastered arm due to an operation for tennisellbow.

The most massive event I organised simultaneously for three groups (CS, Blijbrigade and Freehugscampaign) was the Flamish Free Hugging day in Antwerp, at the Central Station, where almost 20 people participated. The first part of the action, on the Meir, has been shown on ATV.

My best extrasolar experience was on UScoCTIO 108, where everyone has the same age, where trees are sort of immaterial, where everybody can fly by the power of thought, where there is no food and your energy derives from a portable bio-energytransformer.
