Overview
About Me
Real Estate novelist and a part-time pirate. Likes whiskey and taking long walks on the beach with a pack of beagles. Always looking for adventure and treasure. Also a freelance journalist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People who want to meet new people are usually interesting people.
Interests
The thing I like about travelling is how you senses seem to work differently when you're on the road. Strange sounds, new scents, unfamiliar sights. When everything around you is new it's very easy to live in the present and go with the flow.
I've been to a lot of shitty places and a lot of beautiful ones too. In the end it's not the weather, the food, the mediocre folk music, the deciphering of moonspeak or the shady taxi driver that's ripping you off that makes the journey worthwhile. It's that genuine feeling of wonder for the world when you get of that plane and feel the heat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 5 years old I caught a fish in Turkey the second i threw my line in the water. Although i fished for hours after that i didn't catch another one. 26 years later it's still the only fish I ever caught.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you truly want to learn about something ask an expert what to read and what not to read about that specific subject and than read both.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live on a post stamp, so not much space. I do know my way around the city quite well so I can be a decent guide.
