According to the references written about me I'm a very wise man, humorous and open minded, who is comfortable to be around, makes for good conversation and a very good cook. What more could I add? :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people, learning from others, going on hikes, road trips or other adventures together, sharing meals etc. Friendship is one of the things I value most in life and Couchsurfing gives an entirely new and exciting dimension to that.
Movies, music, arts, parties, dancing, conversation, nature, hiking, camping, mountain biking, playing squash, world affairs, reading. To name a few...

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: lately I'm into old soul, blues and jazz music. Also classical music, mostly choir music. But I can also enjoy heavy metal or drum n bass or techno.
Last great movie I saw was Birdman.
I'm reading Six Degrees by Mark Lynas (which is quite depressing).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Campaigning for Barack Obama in 2008 in battleground state Ohio.
