Just a regular nomad. Originally from Russia, my american home base was NYC for a decade while I also had travelled all over America, hitchhiking then living a vanlife with my kid and a dog fam. Sometime in 2018 we passed thru a small town in northern New Mexico while on another van life road trip and decided to stay there, thats where I got my first ever own place and opened it for couchsurfers right away, which was great experience.
5 years later we are back North East of USA as a home base. I'm back to vanlifing in usa part time and roaming the world the rest of the time.

Im into all things nature, astrology, listening to and playing music, skateboarding with my son around nyc.
I like spending days and nights in the woods and mountains, at waterfalls and the ocean.
I am kinda allergic to small talk and never understood superficial connections aka networking. In my universe you either connect with your heart or not at all.

As a traveler, I know the importance and value of having a place to crush for a night and take a shower when on the road. I'm greatful to people who have helped me in my travels and believe in the paying back and forth with offering a place for people to stay and take a rest stop on their journey when I'm stationed at my place. And since I still travel about half a year myself, I would appreciate the same from the hosts. That's what the couchsurfing community is for me, just travelers helping each other.
