ABOUT US

traveling is our ultimate adventure and are excited to be back in Europe (for only two weeks now). our dream life 'd be to live on the road for shorter or longer periods of time and see the world that way (on bikes, trains, in mobile homes especially, but loving airports too).
we appreciate tourist attractions, but love connecting with people, their stories, dreams, talents, sharing home-cooking, exploring fav neighborhoods together, nature, and taking part in everyday-life activities.
we enjoy interesting and stimulating conversations over a nice meal. (Al is a great cook, i do the coffee and dessert part!), so good food, discussion, and music is our fav combination.

CS has been good to us, though we have used it very little so far.

local art, local people / your fav spots! surprises! long walks and conversations; desserts(!) and coffee, ethnic food, wine, games, and lots of laughter; sustainable living, alternative ideas and proposals to the current system; for Csilla - also dancing/movement; alternative healing practices/energy work like Thai massage; sustainable living, to reuse, recycle, rebuild...:) also sustainable economics, geopolitics, science, music, etc.

Sitting at the bottom of the active Pacaya volcano in Guatemala at night and warming hands over the glowing lava;
Looking over the Tikal Maya ruins;
Watching the local young boys fishing at the beach on a calm, beautiful afternoon on Caye Caulker Island in Belize;
Dance flash mob with hundreds of others on the main squares of Budapest;
Soccer World Cup in South Africa, amazing energy!;
Working at a youth hostel in Phoenix.
