Hey! I’m Freia & 22 years old :)
I love to travel, visit new countries, meet new people and learn about other cultures.

I love Northern Europe! A few years ago I went to Sweden with my sister for backpacking and adventures.
That is where I discovered Couchsurfing as an amazing way to meet new people and to get in touch with the character of a country or city.

One year later, I went to the Netherlands with some friends, we camped and enjoyed it very much!

Last summer I went on a road-trip through Norway with two friends, a small car, some tents and no plan except for a few saved places on google maps. We had the greatest time camping in the wild and just exploring nature, driving wherever we felt like.

Now I moved from the south of Germany to the very north (Flensburg) which is directly at the border to Denmark. I still can’t believe how close I am to Scandinavia now and that makes me excited to travel more.

I study Social and Political change and am therefore always open for debates and interesting conversations!

Love Rock and old music, also Rap but only when it has political messages or is in some way critical of society. Books: currently reading a lot of bell hooks and other political thinkers, meanwhile making my way through the classics…
Movies: I prefer shows because I can get to know the characters in detail. Wild mix: Heartstopper, Friends, Disenchantment, Fleabag, New Girl, GoT…
