ABOUT ME

Hello everybody !

I'll try in English but I'm not so good. So please forgive all my mistakes :-)

I'm French and I live in Germany, Düsseldorf. I also lived in Munich and Francfort. My family is still in France and I travel a lot between both countries.

I love travelling, that is for me the best way to know the world, to know other people, other cultures, other languages. You can learn a language during years, that is not possible to know it perfectly if you don't know how it sounds in its country.

I photography a lot and this is my biggest hobby. I can take some dozens of minutes to take one picture. And I know that could stress some people but I'm just so. Passion, just passion.

I think it is really important to live completely one's passions, because what you like makes you real. And I'm happy to share mine with other people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Not so often on Couchsurfing, unfortunately. Just bad timing, but I think this is more than travelling. CS is a big community with people from the whole world. It is an experience of life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Many mails, many information shared, not so many people seen, some city tour made, it always was interesting!

Well, I'm always happy to see my friends in other countries or cities and discover these places with them. Is that a CS experience ?

Interests

As you already know : photography.
There are so much things I'm interested in, it could take pretty much time.

I like :
- read magazines or newspapers
- speak other languages (or try it ;-) )
- Germany
- wines (well, I'm French, right ?)
- cooking (yes, that too ! And I've already won the German TV-show "Das perfekte Dinner", German version of "Come Dine with me", you know that game ?)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last year, I was in a park in Düsseldorf, doing some pictures as usual. There was an old woman in this park. She was right in the sun und half nude and I was taking my pictures. Suddenly, she came to me and begun to scream and told me she would call the police and break my camera if I don't stop taking pictures. I did not notice she was there but she thought I was taking pics of her... Well, this was quite funny but she was really angry and I decided to go...

Teach, Learn, Share

First, I'm proud to be part of this "Couchsurfing University" :-)

I could teach French (it's my job !), maybe a little bit German. It would be great if I could learn English as well.
And I can teach cooking. Cooking is just a succession of many experiences. If you don't try, you won't become a cook !
