Hi this is the first year that Ive been able to travel on my own and I love it! I took a gap year after finishing secondary school so I could get some work experience and improve my Spanish so moved to Valladolid and worked as a language assistant in a primary school for about 9 months. This involved me taking the students out of class in small groups and doing an activity with them to help them learn and enjoy speaking in English. Next year, I'll be starting university, studying Spanish and International Relations and im super excited!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people, especially locals to the area because they can show you a different side of a city or town that I would otherwise never have discovered. Going on this website is a bit out of my comfort zone but my year of working in Spain has been about that so here goes :)

Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings. I've read both of them and prefer the Harry Potter books but the Lord of the Rings movies. I recently started reading some Neil Gaiman books such as Neverwhere and American Gods as well. He's a brilliant writer :)

I went to see las Médulas which was honestly the coolest and most incredible place I've been to. Love it!

What I Can Share with Hosts

This year I've lived with a host family so until I leave Spain I won't be able to offer anything but after July I will be back home and happy to host people :)
