I'm Freya and currently 18 years old. This summer I finished high school in Germany. I'm planning on seeing some things in Canada next year. Working with kids is always lots of fun for me. I enjoy spending time with others in general. Also, I play piano.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

After I finish my Au Pair job I really want to see some other parts of Canada. Travelling is really expensive though. Since I'm still quite young and don't make too much money as an Au Pair I need to find cheap accommodations to fulfill my dream of travelling the country. I'm also convinced that couchsurfing is a good opportunity to be closer to the culture and people of a country than staying in a hostel or hotel.

Música, películas y libros

I like reading books for rather young people. The books by John Green are my favourite ones. Once I started reading them I couldn't stop.
I don't know a lot about movies but prefer funny movies a lot. Scary movies are not really enjoyable for me, since I get scared easily. Moreover I like watching documentaries.

I could help with learning how to play piano and guitar or any things related to school. I'm really good with kids, since I'm working as an Au Pair right now.
The thing I'd like to learn most about Canadian culture. Also, I'm going to travel with an older car and I'm not the most experienced mechanic. So in case of any troubles, I'd be truly grateful for assistance.
I enjoy cooking, which is why I like sharing meals with and preparing them for others.

As mentioned before, I really like cooking so I'd like to share some self prepared meals with my host. I'm also a communicative person and I'd enjoy talking about experiences and other things.
