My name is Frida Grunewald, 27 years old from Sweden and I am currently studying a Master in Social Science with specialization in Digital media and Society at Uppsala University. My main interests are traveling and meeting new people from different cultures - basically everything that has to do with Intercultural communication. The highlights of my journeys were undoubtedly the Transsiberian Railway and spending a year in Barcelona. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen trying new dishes influenced from the whole world. But among all, I gladly talk about my passion for chocolate and prosecco.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Before I have used Airbnb, but since i am planning to travel a lot during my exchange in the netherlands. And in order to meet new people (hopefully Future friends) I think Couchsurfing is the absolutely best way of doing that. But it is also about trying something completely new and go outside your comfort zone (read: hotel, hostel etc).
