Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just starting in Couchsurfing. I was in CS Meeting with others Couchsurfers in Londrina / Parana (Brazil) and in João Pessoa - Paraíba (my hometown city in Brazil too). In few days I will travel to USA and Canada.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all arts that changed my gaze. New ways of seeing the world is always my goal. My big influences come from the artists who work the language in the edge.

In literature and music:

* 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' by Gabriel Garcia Marquez (Colombian writer) maybe is the most inspirational work in my life. After read this book I have no doubt that I was read the history of all of us. It's a masterpiece of world literature;

* Caetano Veloso, Brazilian singer, is another influence. He started 'Tropicalismo' the music of Brazilian soul. It's smart, contradictory and incredible beautiful;

* Carlos Drummond de Andrade, another Brazilian poet, with a special sensibility.

In photography and movies:

* Miguel Rio Branco, William Eggleston, Nan Goldwin, Lary Clark. They are the best photographers of contemporary art;
* Stanley Kubrick and Win Wenders. They think movies from images, like photographers.
