Hi, i‘m Friedemann.
I live in the very beautiful City of Rostock, surrounded by the even more beautiful landscape of the baltic sea and the lake district of Mecklenburg.
I live in a shared appartment and actually i‘m an apprentice carpenter as my second education.
I love hiking in the woods, but even though i love the hills i‘m used to a more flat terrain. 😅
When challenged by every day live i find myself relaxing with a nice yoga lesson or working even more in my own little workshop, ultimately steering to a life in a van and building exzeptionell furniture and unique vans on my own.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am searching for new people who can show me the little gems and surprises of the land and citys. I love experiencing the alternative way of life as much as finding a little adventure outside in the nature.
Sometimes i find myself troubled of being in a foreign land and not knowing where to go or what to do.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We once travelled through Estonia by foot, and suddenly dicovered a bunch of stranded tree trunks. So we decided to build a big raft, able to carry 10 people along the river. Actually, after some hours of work, the raft was finished in the evening. Eager to get it started we floated down the river until we got stuck in the middle of the night.
