ABOUT ME

I'm living in Colorado, USA right now and planning a European adventure with my boyfriend, Adam. It will be his first trip to Europe (I've been to Europe more times than I can count, but we'll be going many places I have never been before).

Before we head for Europe, I'll be applying to MBA programs in Denver.

I've been part of an incredible international organization called Children's International Summer Villages, which is a group dedicated to spreading peace through global friendship. I've travelled with them both as a child delegate and as an adult leader and loved all experiences with it.

Oh, and I have a collection of 50+ pairs of earrings :).

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem! We only have one lifetime, so there's no point in wasting it wondering what's next. Just go for it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Strictly a surfer for now. As long as I live in my parents' basement, I have no couch to surf, but I'd love to start hosting when I move out on my own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I lived in Germany in the autumn of 2010, I stayed with a couple in Mainz. I loved it and we occasionally keep in touch today.

Interests

Languages, travel, books, music, politics, sociology on an amateur level. Other than sky-diving type activities, I'm open to anything new :).

Music, Movies, and Books

I haven't had time to see many movies lately, but in general I prefer comedies.

I'll listen to just about any type of happy music. A lot of country. As long as it's not negative in its message, I'll probably enjoy it.

I'll read anything based in history. I'm not very picky - if it seems interesting, I'll read it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been an interchange leader with Children's International Summer Villages - seriously, the experience of a lifetime. The kids are now like my own and I just love them to pieces and besides, they're incredibly inspiring.
