ABOUT ME

Well, my name I Begard (I know, what a weird ass name) and I grew up in a little town called Umeå up north in Sweden. There is not much to do in Umeå, so I mostly participated in car races on ice. It got quite boring after a while, so I moved around for a couple of years. In 6 sex years I have had 14 different homes in 8 different cities.

Now i live in Oslo while I work to save up som cash for my next trip.
I have a background as a concert promoter and have a degree in cultural project management. I'm such a nerd and read about a dozen books a month. This has naturally led to worsened eyesight, so without lenses, I'm blind (glasses are not for me. I have had ten pairs and they all have broken). One should take care of their eyes, because you see life through your eyes. I see the world with queer, socialist and feminist eyes in which gender, ethnicity, sexuality and class do not matter. What matters is love, respect, knowledge and fellowship. And music of course. And dancing. And vegan soul food.

I'm not afraid of being alone, I actually love it. I am a master of origami and when I am bored I do origami robot toys (but I'm the only one who sees the charm in them). I play the ukulele and draw comics about identity crises (mostly about my own crisis). For the rest, I like my identity crisis. Identity crises is perhaps the most beautiful thing I know. It's just that its fucking stressful when people do not understand how cool it is to wanting to remain in your own crisis. My crisis is cozy!

PHILOSOPHY

feminism and science. I love data and have a pretty rational approach to life. I hate pseudoscience, logical fallacies, "healing herbs" (which of course you buy at a high price), naturopathic doctors, homeopathy, spirituality, conspiracies, cults, religion and ghosts.

I love everything you can measure and weigh. And I get extremely overjoyed when researchers make remarkable documentations, when you KNOW (not just "having a feeling") that the job is well done. And I love to talk and read about those matters. For hours! Over a good cup of tea!
