I live in a house with a housemate. He does have kids and I am not always around (moving around a lot) so it's not always easy to accomodate guests. However the house is open and we like to meet new people and share about life around a meal or a board game (other than monopoly ;) ).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like sharing and meeting new people.
Car pooling brought me some of the best encounters., so couchsurfing is the next step. In a world where individualism is the general rule, the exception can feel quite good !
I travel a lot and magic players couchsurf all the time within the community, but I wanted to broaden my horizons.

Interests

Games, number one of which : magic the gathering
Food, wine and single malt wiskys. Cheese too :)
TV shows take quite a lot of my free time. (GOT, TWD, BrBa, The Affair, Limitless... Survivor (we all have a guilty pleasure don't we ?)).

Music, Movies, and Books

Not too keen on music due to lack of education in the field... I like massive attack, -M-, Bumcello, I have recently got to know brazilian music, and tend to like it very much.
Love a good movie, but tend to prefer TV shows, as characters usually have more depth.
My favorite books of all time are F. Herbert's Dune series. Every time I read it (may it be in french or in english) I am overwelmed by the clarity of thought of the author and the depth of the world he created. I usually like fantasy/SciFi books, but also like novels, provided the author has some talent ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back packing alone in Sweden and Norway for 10 days. I met plenty of great people there. I wish to get back there someday !

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach games, languages and cooking. I also can usually fix a computer or mobile phone ;)
I like to learn new stuff and to share what I know...

I can cook and share knowledge about wine, food and of course magic the gathering cards ;)
