CURRENT MISSION

My personal mission is to bring more compassion to the world - for ourselves and others. My couchsurfing mission is to provide people with an experience that allows them to explore other cultures in depth.

ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty unconventional person. I like to learn. A lot. I'm interested in all matters of things (from nutrition to business to yoga to pole dancing) and enjoy conversing about these things, even when there's a difference of opinion. I consider myself to be very open-minded and I love being given the opportunity to learn.

My present focus is on learning and fully integrating principles of The Option Process: taking full responsibility for everything in my life; choosing happiness; accepting things for how they are; and loving first, acting second.

My dream is to travel and touch as many lives as possible. I've always known that I'm here to help other people and I've discovered, in my studies, a really solid way to create and find happiness. Being able to share that joy and bountiful love with people is truly a gift.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love both surfing and hosting! I have been a host and really enjoyed that experience. If there's any way I can give back to my host while surfing - cleaning up, cooking dinner, telling a good story, offering advice - I love to make that happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted four people and surfed on two different occasions so far. They were all fantastic experiences.

I'm open to pretty much every kind of music. There is no way I could even remember all the books and movies I've enjoyed over the years, but there's certainly no way I could list them all here. To put things in perspective, my current "to read" list is up to over 3,000 books.

I've been told I'm pretty funny and entertaining and have good stories. I'm also a good cook and I always leave a place cleaner than when I found it. I'm a pretty helpful and service-oriented person.
