ABOUT ME

I am a recent college graduate from the University of California in Santa Cruz that is groping my way into the next stage of life. Not too sure what I will do with myself, but I think that might just be the best thing for me.

I love art, and while I may not always understand what I'm looking at, just to be around it is enough. All the emphasis on science and math is great, but as someone once told me, those are the people that can build the walls, and it takes and artist to give it meaning.

I love food and beer and can on occasion appreciate a rainy day.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to get by without a career as long as I can and meanwhile experiencing the world fully so that one day I can decide what the best route is for me. :)

I might go on to further school, but I would really like to avoid that route if I can.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to promote a positive image of Americans within the larger global picture. I do not have a space to host people (yet!) but I hope to make connections through this resource that will last me a lifetime!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It has always been fun for me to stay with people (friends of friends, etc.) when going out of town because of the new experiences and local flavor. You can't see a place better than with a person who actually lives there.

I have spent the last year of my life working with two mentally disabled children and their respective families. Patience is a virtue!
