About Me

ABOUT ME

Growing up in a military family, I enjoyed the opportunities we had to live in Germany, Guam, Spain, Maryland, and Oregon. As a result, I love to travel and meet new and interesting people. I worked for the military which allows me to travel occasionally. Having worked in a variety of industries in my life including window manufacturing, janitorial services, fine jewelry manufacturing, farm labor, retail sales, printing, and for the Department of Defense human resources, management analysis, and process improvement, there are few people with whom I'm not able to relate.

Interests

My kids are my biggest interest. I coached soccer and football and love to watch them perform in theater, ballet, wave surfing, and karate. Education is also huge intest of mine. I would be a professional student if that would pay the bills. I have had the luxury I'd taking courses from a variety of universities: Puget Sound Christian College, Southern Oregon State University, Northwest Christian University, University of Oregon, St Mary's Univsity, Villanova University, Army Logistics Management College. My Air Force job even provided me the opportunity to teach ROTC at Oregon State University where I enrolled in a computer programming course. Now I've discovered the free courses on ITunes University and I'm working through calculus and stastics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Jumping off the cliffs at South Point into the clear warm Hawaiian waters. I rode my bicycle around the big Island with a couple friends and was struck by the various climates represented on the island. What a beautiful place. Swimming with the amazingly colorful sea life in Hawaii would also have to rank up there with my most awestruck moments.
