Recently moved to Victoria, and am trying to learn more about the world-people and environment wise. I'm studying Environmental studies at university so I have a keen interest in that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling can be expensive when adding up the cost and taxes that the system puts on things. I'd like to explore the world and the people in it. I think that this is a way of travelling that will allow me to become exposed to a greater scope of life, and through that, I'd love to explore life and expand the relationships I have with the people in it. As a university student who doesn't have much extra to spare in terms of expenses, I'd like to try out this form of travel.

I'm really into BIG THIEF right now, but generally like to listen to a conglomeration of EVERYTHING except for really abrasive and jolting sounds...like bagpipes. A tasteful amount of bagpipes is a-ok.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wish I've done more amazing things. Recently, I quit my program of study at the University of Calgary and traveled to Victoria BC to start a new program- following a path that I really think i'm connected to- and that in itself, is something that I'm really excited to have done.

I'd love to collaborate musically with anyone while visiting. I play the ukulele(somewhat), can pick up a djembe, and honestly, will jam anytime anywhere.
