About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have no mission, really. I'm very lucky to have the life that I have and I can only hope that I can share the good feelings that people give to me.
ABOUT ME
This is difficult! I'm still trying to figure this one out myself. I grew up in Southern California with a Japanese mother and an American Father. I stopped going to college at around 20 years old and started to work and accumulate musical instruments. Then I started to travel. I lived in Montreal for six months to work and learn a bit of French. I went to Europe for about 9 months and eventually ran out of money. Since then, I've begun studying linguistics and just recently graduated with a BA. I'm not sure what exactly the future will hold, but I'll definitely be traveling!
PHILOSOPHY
I'm lucky to live the life that I do. I try not to forget to be grateful for all the wonderful things in my life.
If I can't express my personal philosophy in my private writing, I probably can't express it in this small white box on the internet.... Let's talk about it instead!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only had couchsurfers as guests in my home once. It was a great experience playing tourguide to a city that I was still new to and excited about (Montreal). And I got to practice my Japanese!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've only hosted once and surfed twice. They were really amazing experiences

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My whole life is amazing. I'm so lucky that I don't feel burdened by all the things that I see around me everyday. All of the problems and challenges that I encounter are created by me. I think that's pretty amazing. I also rode my bike from Montreal to Quebec city. That was pretty amazing too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm still learning so much everyday, but I suppose I can offer a few tips...
-baking soda in shoes = odor gone!
-don't pack your stuff when you're drunk
-duct tape is awesome for everything
-don't wait until the last minute
I speak Japanese fluently. I love to help people who are trying to learn Japanese or English. I can also "try" to help with the little French that I know...
