About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Put photos from my travels in Europe on my CS profile

ABOUT ME

I am really funny, I love to make people laugh. Often I say and do all kinds of inappropriate things to get attention. This is because I love attention and also I find peoples' reactions to awkward situations endlessly amusing. So it goes without saying that I am not serious about most things in life with a few exceptions. Primarily my work as a Veterans' Advocate in the US. I work with government and various institutions to promote the needs of America's returning Iraq and Afghanistan War Veterans. I am not a veteran myself but I have personal ties to the war which have encouraged me to be a leader in the movement of veterans' advocacy efforts that continues to grow and encompass every town across America. My personal strength and inspiration comes from my work ethic which I discovered when I started my first company at age 18. By age 20 I decided that I needed a formal education so I put myself through Rutgers Business School and received a BS in accounting. The rest of the story is unwritten and I welcome you to author a page.

PHILOSOPHY

When we walk to the edge of all the light we have and take that step into the darkness of the unknown, we must believe that one or two things will happen... There will be something solid to stand on, or we will be taught to fly - Patrick Overton

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was traveling from Paris to Avignon on the speed train and had a conversation with another traveler. He mentioned an international movement called couchsurfing. I knew nothing of this before one month ago.
