ABOUT ME

I am rather optimistic with some air of realism around me. This makes it easier for me to take what I want from life without too much hesitation.
At work as well as outside I am creative and imaginative. I hate boredom, monotony and powerlessness. I am quiet active and enjoy socialising with people with whom I can have a good talk or laugh (or both:)
I hardly ever stay at home unless I feel like playing with my two beloved guinea pigs: Dumpling and Noodle.

PHILOSOPHY

"Not expecting too much will save you from dissapointment" is my life motto that has worked well for me so far. Thanks to this, in most cases, I am amazed rather than disillusioned..

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have decided to join the CS community because of my mission - the realization of my lifetime ambition - travelling backpack round the world!
As I love meeting new people on the way, getting to know their cultures and mindsets, plus I do not belong to the wealthier part of the world society I thought that being offered a couch in exchange for good company and fun could work its magic, couldn't it?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I cannot boast many.. but those I have had were really wirthwile. A year ago I travelled to Mexico, Merida and stayed with a family. Normally you expect a large family when you visit Mexico. This family were quite unusual: it was made up of more pets than kids! There were only two daughters but 5 dogs!
In Cozumel, Yucatan, I was hosted by a gorgeous lady who showed me around the island and took me even on a ride to the other side:)
Basically, people who host you are friendly. I guess if they weren't so, they wouldn't be here.. would they?

Interests

I love being surrounded by intelligent, positive people whose company lets me speak my mind without hesitation. As much as I like people I love ANIMALS. Myself have two lovable guines pigs called Dumpling and Noodle. I love playing with them and hugging:)
Dansing, for a change, helps me free my passion and gives me energy for the whole week ahead..

Music, Movies, and Books

I like taking a break with a glass of wine, put on a CD with classic music. This relaxes me and puts me in a good mood. But also I'm a big salsa and reagge lover. They both bring in summer memories to my mind and make me look forward to the next one..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have witnessed when my guinea pig was having her three little ones!
I have gone diving and seen the amazing underwater world of fish and plants!
I have parachuted from the highest mountain in Turkey over an amazing lagoon..
I have hitch-hiked from Poland to Scotland and back and got successfully sneaked onto the ferry from Holland to England without a ticket!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a teacher of English I take great pleasure in communicating with people from all over the world especially while travelling.. I will be happy, thus, to help someone I will meet on my way through Asia use this language. I love Spanish too, but my level is very low. I would appreciate if someone could help me speak better..
