About Me

I've been working an individual artist mainly in Europe. But since I get some disease, I've been giving pause on my life and having some slow time. But I'm still motivated in artistic activities and explore beautiful friendship all over the world :D

Open mind is on my priority.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In my almost 2 years' travel in Europe between 2006-2007, I found more interesting to surf couches in order to encounter fabulous people than just stopping on the cozy youth hostels. In Japan and when I was living in Portugal, I hosted some people with many pleasant experiences.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A LOT. But especially "encounter", of course. If I just come to the city and passing touristic places, never be able to understand the people, in other words never be connected with the society and history of that place. And also I got a confidence, all the people in this globe was born with kind spirit :D

Interests

Generally, arts. But especially the moments that the arts engage with people, rather than things in the rich institution apart from people.

And I love a calm afternoon with one cup of nice coffee in a beautiful café... X) Sometime I just walk a lot just to find a nice place.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am very inspired by some philosophical ideas. Most important person is Japanese philosopher Kiyokazu Washida, and also French philosophers Merleau-Ponty, Derrida, Levinas etc.
I do not see a lot of movies, but favorite director is Abbas Kiarostami from Iran: calm, strong, and complex at the same time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So many people have been supporting my travel. really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have been working in Japan, Portugal, France, Spain, Poland and Romania as an artist. Nice to share my experience. And needless to say, if you are simply interested in Japan or Japanese culture, I am open to expose whatever I know!

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Morocco, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain

Countries I’ve Lived In
