Overview
About Me
24 y/o master student in Economics, based in Jena/Germany. I am born and raised in Turkey.
Whenever I see the slightest possibility for a journey I definitely use it. I don't like planned trips and I reaaaalllyyy love meeting with different people on my way and sharing stories with them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have a natural link with this website. I used to go to these weekly meetings in Istanbul which was a great way to socialize with travelers around the world. I saw business people, hippies, bicycle travelers, young broke travelers, and so on. Then I used CS on my exchange year for both hosting people and accommodating. Years passed by and I am still excited by the idea of Couchsurfing.
Interests
Sports, history, geography, culture is my specialist talking subjects
Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading science fiction books, especially from Asimov, Heinlein, and Le Guin. I used to have a taste for movies and music but as I get older I started listening and watching more popular garbage. I am open for advice in that case.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During January, in a cold and wet night I slept outside in a parking garage in Eindhoven/Netherlands. Because I was literally too broke to afford an hostel stay and couldn't find a place via cs.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can talk about sports, society, history, and also random garbage if you want. I also love to hear about traveler stories. I can adapt in your plans pretty easily.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook stuff from Turkish cuisine, but if I don't have ingredients I can cook with whatever the ingredients I have.
