CURRENT MISSION

my current mission is to get some perspective on life the universe and everything. Sick of being part of the rat race that is business have decided to wander and see what the universe serves up!

ABOUT ME

Can be a little shy when first meeting people but once im comfortable i am pretty outgoing. I like to think about things before i make decisions but can be a pretty fun person to be around. Love music would like to do something creative in that respect ... photography - jus love takin pics dont know whether they are good or bad but once i get going i find it hard to stop. Love animals of all sorts cept moths. They just dont do it for me. Currently travelling at the moment in the states and missing my puppies so any dog is a likely candidate for a cuddle. When i finish travelling hope to make a living from being creative not working in a corporate environment. I guess i can ad more as i go :-)

PHILOSOPHY

Being honest to yourself leads to honesty with others. Being real and true about ure beliefs and appreciating others for what they offer. Opening myself up to what has the potential to be good and returning that to those i meet in my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Electronic music is my first love but listen to all sorts. I play piano - classical style ... love folk, pink floyd, ben lee. Love movies as well ... i like movies that make u think what would i do if i was in that situation .. eg Wolf Creek but also like pixar, the princess bride for its simplicity, stardust cos i think the stars a watchin us as much as we watch them. Three colours series, delicatessen, city of lost children, betty blue, amelie, evil dead - haha! Little Fish. Too many to list ... Kevin Spacey seems to choose good scripts so anything with him in it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have lived self sufficiently on my property, solar power, grew our own vegies, traded with neighbouring farms etc for food, labour and fun. It was a very eye opening experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have recently discovered the open source software community. I am attempting to learn more about this so I can contribute to this community. Its philosophies seem to ring true with me - and hopefully i will have something to offer. As far as skills go - i can teach piano ... and am learning to twirl fire poi - so would be happy to help anyone with those.
