About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Teach, grow, live

ABOUT ME

Desde hace me gradué de la universidad, Hago trabajo voluntarion en Okianwa #1, Santa Cruz. Es mi segundo año aquí.

Since college, I´ve been doing long term service here in Okinawa #1, Santa Cruz Bolivia. I grew up in CT and came down to DC to study politics (and then decided to double major in Spanish).

PHILOSOPHY

All I know is that I don't know enough.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Estoy un hora y media de Santa Cruz entonces es dificil a ir allá. Podemos encontrar por el fin de semana o puedo mostrarte un poco de Okinawa (no hay mucho a ver).

We can meet up in Santa Cruz or Montero (if your not going to see the Jesuit mission colonies you propably not come this way). I know some good resturants and have a decent baring on the city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

No he aprovechado couchsurfing mucho. Descubrí en Washington. Quiero hacerlo más.

I've met many couch surfers through my friend Gene and haven't had a bad experience yet. I regret not touring more of DC while I was in school, so being kind of a tour guide was a treat. Meeting fellow travelers here is exciting and just plain awesome.

Interests

En mi tiempo libre aquí en el campo: leo, miro muchos Dvds, cocino y aprendo español y japones.

Reading, watching obscure foriegn and independent films, learning foriegn languages, theater, thai food ... (I'm horrible at answering these questions.)

Music, Movies & Books

Me gusta un poco de todito. Umberto Eco, Leo Tolstoi, Coelho....

Obscure foriegn and independent films. Techno to folk music. Umberto Eco, War and Peace, lots of politics books and I am unsucessful procrastinating reading some Spanish books for plesure.

One Amazing Thing I've Done

El camino de muerte, Isla del Sol, Uyuni, Carnaval en Oruro, enseño en Okinawa. Machu Pichu, Buenos Aires, Bariloche, y Chileo.

Going to see the Basilica of Guadalupe. Back packing Philmont, New Mexico. Dog sledding in Parent, Canada. Traveling to all Sourthern Cone countries, Bolivia Brazil and parts of Europe. The worlds most dangerous road, Uyuni, Samaipata, riding on back of a motocycle to the mission churches.

Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Spain, Uruguay

Countries I've Lived In
