I have done a lot of traveling (mostly in hostels) which is amazing..buuut I love the different experiences you have when you stay with local people. You get to see a different side of the city/town, and create different connections with them (vs the ones you make with people in hostels) It is a more true experience in that its not just the marketed "lonely planet tourist things to do/stay/eat" when you stay with a local they fill you in on the real things you should do!!

I also love drawing and painting and trying new things that put me out of my comfort zone

I have flown across Canada in a single engine float plane and hiked the West Coast Trail (Vancouver Island)

On my most recent trip I have tried to get as many people as I can to draw me a picture in my notebook...its fun to have art from people i've met along my travels.

I also love sharing music!!!!!!!!! and teaching/exposing people to new sports and experiences (sharing my love of mountain biking, skiing, hiking etc to people who have little or no experience with it) I volunteer as a ski instructor for the disabled

I am a constant learner and love hearing/learning new things, and have recently tried to take up Spanish

One of my favourite things to do...is EAT! I am always more than happy to prepare a delicious meal for people who put me up!

I've done lots of traveling and camping so I am really good at leaving a small footprint. You wont even notice im there!
