Im a fun loving person who is also pretty chill; I like to take life one page at a time without fear of the ending. I love corny jokes and puns; I tend to go over board with them sometimes. My motto is if they aren't laughing they aren't having a good time.

I love travelling and getting to know people all around the world; its interesting to meet so many different individuals and learn their stories.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

To meet new people and make friends in other countries! Most of the time I have an airbnb, which defeats the purpose of couch surfing, but I just want to learn more about the area/talk/make new friends. I feel like I'm imposing if I stay in their house, you know? Plus I'm an introvert with extrovert tendencies, and I tend to shut down and need my own space (not in a negative way, I just kind of self-isolate to recharge).

*Note* While I do want to make friends, sending me a friend request without meeting me is not going to be accepted; I'm not going to be the friend you never met; it deceives other people. So unless we have met in real life, please don't send a friend request.

I just figured this would be a great way to hang out with people and learn more about the world I'm visiting.

音乐、电影和书籍

Books are my passion; I can get lost in all the worlds they hold--mystery, criminal suspense, thrillers, fantasy, and sci-fi are usually my first picks. I'm a lover of the older novels versus the new in regards to sci-fi (however, you tend to get huge amounts of sexism in the older novels, so it's a bit of a trade off, Xanth for example). I'm also a fan of murder mysteries, especially if they have a sprinkle of fantasy. I love Harry Potter (I mean who doesn't other than die-hard Christians?), Oryx and Crake, Fahrenheit 451, Watership Down (I never thought rabbits could make me cry), I think one of my ultimate favs is Gulliver's Travels (yea, I'm the one that's excited in English class when we get the literary list.) The more creative and intricate the story, the more I like it. I'm a huge fan of fae and sidhe lore and novels.

I mainly go by authors in terms of my overall style: anything by John Flanagan, Stephen King, Johnathan Swift, Salinger, kinda like Laurel K Hamilton, in love with Holly Black, I do like the book Heir Apparent, I kinda/sorta like Anne Rice but not sure anymore lol, of course I like Harry Potter (don't we all?) and I love Andrew Lang's Fairy Tale series. I'm a scifi and fantasy gal, so talk Margaret Atwood, Frank Herbert, and Gene Wolfe. I'm sure I'm missing a ton of books and authors in my list but yea.

Movies, hmn, American wise I'd say Disney/Pixar are pretty tied (Dumbo's my ultimate fav), and then I'm a Ghibli fan. My first was Spirited Away, but my favorite in all the entirety of Ghibli would be Kiki's Delivery Service. Practically have the song and movie lines memorized with how many times I've watched it~ I want to cosplay her one day (at the moment, melting over Arrietty so I'll hopefully be cosplaying that sometime this year~). Other than cartoons/anime/animation, I like action packed movies, suspense/thrillers, comedy, and maybe romance (if paired with comedy).

Going to lump some TV series in here, but Marvel and DC stuff (so many to count lol), Parks and Rec, Big Bang Theory, Naked and Afraid (actually any survival show) and reruns of the crocodile hunter. Some new stuff I'm into is I, Robot (only seen like 5 episodes though), GoT (I am not caught up, please don't spoil), Sirens, and Brooklyn Ninety nine. Cartoon wise I love Steven Universe, Teen Titans (not the new one, the old one!), and Young Justice (boo Cartoon Network, bring it back D< ).

Music's kinda everything save for country, but even then some songs are nice (like the soundtrack from Spirit [the horse?]) I like a lot of foreign music like Kpop/Jpop and lovin' Norwegian Death Metal or Norwegian folk pop (I like Tyr) ve got a long list so postponing this for now.

Exist. Kidding kidding lol, I make and sell handmade jewelry and accessories, as well as stuffed animals and whatnot. Its a side hobby that I do to make money for college, but its honestly my truest passion.

Stories from my past experiences, my current experiences, and future endeavors. I think it would be nice to interact and see how culturally different (or similar) we are. I could also teach them survival skills, I may not look it but I love surviving off in the wilderness (despite my love and addiction of the internet, lol). I'm quite the chatterbox so be prepared, I talk a LOT and there is so much to share in such a little time.
