About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel to cool places, meet awesome people, & have awesome adventures along the way!

ABOUT ME

I am a twenty-something professional living in Vancouver. I grew up here but have lived all around British Columbia for the past seven years. I have finally decided to make Vancouver my home again and am definitely embracing the west coast lifestyle. I love the beach, mountains, and everything in between!

PHILOSOPHY

I think it's important to keep an open mind and open heart to the world around you. I love the idea of connecting with people on different levels whether it be through community events, social media, or just meeting people with similar interests. There's definitely an amazing world out there just waiting to be explored and new friends waiting around every corner!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I currently don't have a couch to offer but I'm definitely available to show people around in Vancouver! If you're looking for someone to show you things from a local perspective or just are interested in meeting new people, I am open to that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never Couchsurfed (yet) but the idea of it definitely interests me! People have told me that they've had excellent experiences with it and I'm really intrigued to find out more.

Interests

I love exploring a new city! My interests include walking, hiking, hanging out with friends, writing, cooking a great meal, going to the beach, reading, attending yoga classes, going to concerts, volunteering, and meeting new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love indie folk and alternative. My favourite artist at the moment is Mo Kenney. One of my favourite past times is attending live music or festivals.

As for books, I'll pick up whatever interests me. I recently read To Kill a Mocking Bird and 'Tis by Frank McCourt while travelling. I couldn't put down either of them!

I don't watch movies too much, but I sometimes like to check out documentaries on Netflix. The best ones I've seen lately are Searching for Sugar Man, Detropia, and Craigslist Joe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earlier this year, I was bored with life and decided to buy a ticket to Amsterdam and go backpacking solo in Europe. I had travelled by myself in Canada, but never outside the country. I had an amazing experience meeting new friends and gaining memories that I'll never forgot!
