ABOUT ME
I was born in Russia, Kazan, republic of Tatarstan. Now I live in Istanbul, Turkey, and I work as a teacher of English.

I'm friendly, conversable, eager to learn more about the world and people. I'm fond of studying foreign languages, enjoy travelling and making new friends. A bit shy and modest, but I'm working on it :D

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

First, I would like to help people who come to Istanbul, Turkey with accommodation, transportation and sightseeing. It may be scary (but absolutely thrilling) to come to an unknown city, so it's good to have a friend who can help you out with anything) I remember I used CS when I first came to Istanbul myself, so I'm eager to help someone else too.

Second, I would like to able to have friends all over the globe and come to any city confidently sure, I won't be lost or alone)

I love communication with various people, making new friends, finding out more about culture of other countries. discovering the world. It's a great fun indeed.

MOVIES: Vanilla Sky, Meet Joe Black, Chronicles of Narnia, Life is Beautiful (Italy).

MUSIC: various from classical to hard rock: Linkin Park, Ace of Base, Blink182, Good Charlotte, Scooter, Rammstein, Evanescence, Enigma, Gregorians, Beatles, Elvis Presley. I love the sound of piano and guitar.

BOOKS: F.Scott Fitzgerald ("The Great Gatsby" especially), Oscar Wilde ("The Picture of Dorian Gray"), J.D.Salinger ("The Catcher in the Rye"). I also read various books concerning linguistics and psychology.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The last thing I remember I was spending a night with the whole bunch of my best friends in a winter forest hut sitting on the floor in front of the fireplace singing songs and playing the guitar. soft music, candles, happy faces..THAT was magnificent. It brightens up your spirit and takes you away from the world for a while ;)

I can help you do chores around the house like cooking or cleaning. And I can also babysit for your little ones for some time.

I have studied a new science called somatypology - it's a science which can help you tell a person's character and what they are good at by their body type. It can also shed a light at your compatibility with your love partner/ what person you need to look for to be happy. I can share this knowledge with my hosting friends, if you wish. Just ask.
