My name is Gábor and I live in Budapest on the Buda side with my family.*

People sometimes think I am stoned. But don't be fooled. I am just a really slow person.

My life so far:
Once I was sitting on the subway and was thinking about the tardigrades in space. The time flew with the train. I forgot to get off. I was late for work. I had to make up a lie about how I overslept. Just couldn't tell the truth.

About how I am the best at parties:
Went to Rocktogon to a concert of a friend of mine.
Managed to fall asleep next to the speaker.
Never spent too much money on beverages because i don't drink alcohol and always too embarassed to ask for an apple juice at the bar.

Well
I am not your guy.
But if you are interested in Hungarian history including the actress who literally f***ed away her house, the baron who sculpted his face into every relief in his palace and some story about what we call the true Hungarian virtue... I will be happy to show you around.**

My current life goal is to:
Learn how to tie a tie

If you write your request like the way I wrote my Chemistry homework... You'll have a hard time.
We don'treally prefer to host if you only plan to stay for one night. The main reason is —apart from the fact we worship Satan—, we can't really connect in that short period of time. You have to explain extremely well why should we host you for one night and why didn't you choose a hostel. An average explanation won't do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We travelled a lot but since our daughter was born we don't have that much free time like we used to. We want to raise her as an open-minded person and now we can't take her everywhere but we thought it might be a good idea if the world comes to us :)

Interests

Really really interested in history, politics and planetary colonization.
I am also into board games. It's because I am too dumb to play chess.
Love to hike or just randomly wander around in cities avoiding dog poop.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Around 2003 A.D. I was playing Starcraft online a 2 vs 2 match. My ally was disconnected at the beginning of the game. I did not give up and beat the other 2 players.
This never happened again.
Never will.
