ABOUT ME

Socialist. Feminist. Activist. I split my life pretty evenly between political activism and playing catch up on work. Hot chocolate and trashy TV is my best friend after a long day. Music (preferablly of a ska/punk/reggae/dub/some indie/good hiphop variety) is my best friend when hyper. People are my best friend if they accept me. Food is a friend to all and the kitchen is often my home for hours on end. Pen and paper is my best friend when I try and fail to be creative. My camera is my constant companion.

PHILOSOPHY

Whilst there is an underclass I am of it, whilst there are oppressed I am oppressed. (To paraphrase Eugene Debs.)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When couchsurfing for the first time I taught my Czech host how to make curry and gave my German host a pretty comprehensive overview of the mad stalinist views of the british left on Israel. That do? Maybe some language - always up for teaching people english. I'm a chemistry teacher! Need some private tuition?
