ABOUT ME

One word that I would use to describe me is SILLY. I am a fun loving guy that likes to be silly. Life is too short to be uptight and serious. I like meeting people from all walks of life and hearing their story's. I like to travel (Duh) and have fun (really duh). My favorite holiday is Halloween and dressing up in costume for any reason. I want to say television is the root of all evil (but secretly watch trashy reality TV and cooking shows and family guy and lots of other crap). I worked in the family restaurant most of my life and always wanted a career traveling..so I recently quit my job (July 7, 2010) to travel some and figure out what I want to do with my life. I'm currently trying to grow my hair out to eventually make dread locks. It currently looks like a Afro and gets bigger and bigger.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I met some surfers last year in '09 and asked tons of questions never knowing such a thing existed. It turns out a few of my friends are surfers as well. Who Knew?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My experience thus far is meeting surfers in person. Will you be my first host? so I can fill this in more? :)

Interests

The beach, reading, going to the movies, hanging out with friends, singing to myself, traveling, meeting new people, being silly, art, photography, cooking, interior design, skiing, zip lining, camping, learning new things and meeting new poeple. I pretty much like everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love documentaries because I love to learn. Fun cheesy teen movies are my favorite. I listen to everything from Pink Floyd to Madonna to the Beastie Boys and Bob Marley. I love all music and wish It was playing in the background all the time everywhere. (It does in my head). I'm a big fan of spirituality books- Deepak Chopra and of course any book that teaches me something new.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Philippines last year to meet a friend- also fellow couch surfer. Took a 18 hour flight to Japan then another flight to Manila then a tiny rock hopper plane, then a rikety boat full of people, then trike and then finally reached her. It was then I knew this is the best thing Ive ever done (thus far) and want to do it again and again!
