About Me

ABOUT ME

Just graduated from college and about to start working for my local food bank, looking forward to helping my community be more food secure!
I think life is fantastic, and I want to experience as much as possible.
Netflix and Chill? - Only if I'm extremely hungover.
I want to interact with people and the world!
I am an easygoing, laughing about 75% of my everyday, people lover, vegetarian, food justice advocate/activist.

PHILOSOPHY

To be honest with myself and others and to project positivity and happiness to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couchsurfed exactly....but I did find a road trip companion from a CS group once. My friend and I met up with a total stranger we met through couchsurfing.com and had an amazing time travelling through the Grand Canyon, Bryce, and Zion National Parks together.

Interests

I love to travel and meet people from other cultures and try to learn foreign languages. Photography is my passion, and probably the reason I like to explore as much as I do. I also love to dance, and have studied and performed belly dance for several years now.

I want to work towards food security, both internationally and locally. Food and water is what we need to survive!! SO I plan on dedicating my life to pursuit of food security for all! I'm going to do this through public policy and advocacy.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like my music funky, and soulful, but also dark and hard. A very wide range. Anything that moves my body.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to the Mayan temples in Palenque, Mexico on the day that marked the end of the Mayan calendar. It was pouring rain, and we were completely soaked, but everyone was there to share an amazing experience together. Crowding together under ancient buildings, singing songs, and embracing people from around the world. It was amazing!

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom
