About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To explore the distant places my heart is aching for.

ABOUT ME

I am 23 years old on a mission to meet/ learn from new people of all kinds and travel as much as I can, whenever I can. I am kind, loving, and I probably care way too much about people...even the ones I don't know. I am accepting, forgiving, and I always see the good in others. I have truly learned to love myself first inside and out, and this has allowed me to have an open heart and free spirit.

PHILOSOPHY

"The moment that judgement stops through the acceptance of what it is, you are free of the mind."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am not in a living situation where I can be a host but I plan on it in the future when I have a place of my own! I spread the good word of couch surfing to others in hopes that they too will become addicted to the awesome experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

After I graduated from college I decided to go couchsurfing on my own in the Pacific Northwest. It was hands down the most awesome and loving experience. I picked a random day that would be after graduation 6 months in advance and basically said "I'm going to do this," and so I did. I bought my plane ticket to take me North and from there I traveled by trains, bus, bike, or my own two feet. I stayed with people whom I would not call "strangers". These people became part of a story that I don't go a month without sharing. (I love spreading the good word of couchsurfing and encouraging others to experience the fun).

Music, Movies, and Books

BOOKS: I loooooove reading! I always have a good book in my hand. My favorites to read though, are memoirs.
MUSIC: Yes, please.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Snorkeling in coral reefs with sea turtles swimming by my side, snowboarding and watching a sunset at the top of a mountain. Getting lost in forests of the Northwest. Taking trains to I don't know where and getting off whenever I felt like it to explore. Walking to underground Gin bars with a stranger I just met and ventured the city.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am all about positivity, good energy, and being happy. Every person I meet I hope to be an influence to.

My mind is a sponge, and I am constantly wanting to learn anything new!
