Overview
About Me
I am a French teacher and since more than a decade head of the languages high-school here in the beautiful city of Brasov, Romania. I am sure that to most of you the city is also well-known due to its proximity to the famous Dracula’s castle. This and many other aspects make Brasov one of the main touristic attractions in our country.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hi everybody, my husband and I were finally convinced by our son to join the CS community. A big “hello” to everybody in here! We are looking forward to making new international friends through both hosting be being hosted by people.
Interests
As one of the past presidents of the French alliance in Romania, I am passionate about France and the French culture, the term coined and being used would be “francophille”. Besides that I love travelling with my husband, reading interesting books and all my high-school students in Brasov :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love old good movies (50s, 60s, 70s), like “The third man” and “Roman holiday”.
Since I have been 4 and began to read and write I kept a journal of my read books, which currently passed by the number 1.000. There are so many I liked, that we will better have to discuss in person.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For a parent children are almost always the one amazing thing done.
Teach, Learn, Share
Everything related to Romanian and French culture. I like to cook as well, taking longer walks together with my husband.
What I Can Share with Hosts
We are basically living in a house near Brasov where we sometimes can host people (depending on the profile, our availability, work). We kindly invite every person to visit Brasov and the beautiful country of Romania.
When we travel, we travel by car, therefore we are completely flexible on the destination, our host can live in the city or outside, this would be totally alright.
When we travel, we would like to get in touch with people with whom we can share a good conversation (unfortunately my husband and I are fluent only in Romanian and French, with English we could get along though as well :) ), enjoy a good food or take a walk together.
