ABOUT ME

GABIJA: Hard to say... I'm a very open-minded, easy going, kind, friendly, funny and a really great person :) I am very outgoing, I like spending time with friends, socializing, playing some active or board games ...
I'm 25 at the moment and I've just finished Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, Veterinary Academy, veteriny food control :) now studying master's degree and working at the university's study center.

SIMAS: Hey everybody. I'm interested in sports news, especially basketball, football. I'm playing basketball at Kaunas city amateur league. Me and my wife always going to our city basketball team Zalgiris matches.
I like spending my time with Gabija and my friends playing poker or other board games, going out, watching movies.
I'm always happy when I have oportunity to meet foreigner, because it's always interesting to get news about their country.
My personality: good person, sociable, responsible.
I'm 28, working as sales manager at the biggest in baltic countries building, outbuilding and household materials company.
I've just finished Vytautas Magnus university, Corporate Management and Organization master's degree.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Since we're together, we're trying to travel as much and as often as we can, we like to meet different people from all over the world and their culture's features. We think, that couchsurfing is the best way to do that! :)

Interests

Music, movies, animals, travels and sports :) especially basketball. Also we like being with our friends, playing poker, tennis, going out...
In the winter time - skiing, going to sauna and in the summer time - swimming in the lake or sea, travelling a lot, making barbeque... just having FUN! :)

Lots, lots, lots... I quess I start with MOVIES: Inception, Fight club, Shutter Island, The big Lebowski, The Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Rayan, Slumdog Millionaire, The Green Mile, The Godfather, The Godfather 2, Life Is Beautiful (La vita è bella), Amélie (Le fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain), Gladiator, The Intouchables, Django unchained, Rocky ...........
MUSIC: from jazz/blues to rap/hip hop, from electronic/house to drum'n'base/psy trance, from rock to...... I just don't like the gothic/metal/heavy/brutal stuff.
BOOKS: Simas - The Godfather at the moment :) classic!, Gabija - 50 shades of grey.... :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our wedding day! Especially that part at the church... :) and the day our baby boy came to this world.
But we're still waiting for other PERFECT moments...
In other way - we already have some amazing moments to remember!

You hope, and you dream. But you never believe that something's gonna happen for you. Not like it does in the movies. And when it actually does, you want it to feel different, more visceral, more real. I was waiting for it to hit me..
