About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Der Himmel über Berlin!

ABOUT ME

I think reasonably crazy is probably the best way to describe me.
I am an architect having a year off from work, studying Mandarin in Beijing. Quarter life crisis? Maybe. But a fun one.

PHILOSOPHY

It's time for some change!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Until now, I mostly hosted people in our Budapest downtown apartment. Since I moved to China for this year, things have changed and due to the new circumstances I hope that I can experience the other side of couch surfing as well. Btw, our joint profile is here: https://www.couchsurfing.org/people/budajeno/ I'm the one on the left side of the picture if you wondered. Pls check this profile out for my previous references.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only had great experiences. I probably couldn't have made it through the last two winters if it wasn't for the great couchsurfers to pull me out of my slumber.

Interests

I'm interested in everything, maybe too many things which makes me end up doing a thousand things at a time. Some of my friends say that I'm nerdy... You decide.
I'm interested in: languages, architecture, urban design, modern history, geopolitics, science, biology and so on. I also have this weird interest in transportation systems, sorry for that.

Music, Movies, and Books

For movies I would say Mood Indigo, because that was the last movie I liked a lot and it's also a wonderful book.
I'm open for a lot of different types of music, my recent obsessions being Beirut and Charlotte Gainsbourg. They remind me of home :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The two months volunteering in the Indian Himalayas is possibly the most amazing thing I have done so far.
