About Me
Hi there!
My names Gabriel, from Canada. I'm a student that mainly travels for school. I study peace, conflict and human rights, so often I will travel to other countries in order to do research.
I have worked as a server, coach, teacher, and am currently a freelance author writing two books. I love discussions about the world, the Universe, social issues, etc. Always looking to make friends, especially in new cultures, where I can really immerse myself like a local.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm still very new to couch surfing, but this is a way for me to travel without having to spend too much money. Like every student, I'm on a very tight budget, so I'm hoping that couch surfer will allow me to see the world during my internships without me having to break my bank account. I'm not picky at all, so as long as I have a roof over my head I am happy. Also, looking to meet new people during my traveling since I do tend to isolate myself from the locals when I only sleep at hotels.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a big fan of horror movies, which is weird since I do study peace. I'm also in love with pretty much all kinds of music you can throw at me except electronic dance music or country.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I used to be a gymnast for the team of Ontario in Canada, where I have won first place.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach English or French, and I can teach you how to do a backflip. Also, I like to try to learn the language of wherever I am from and am currently trying to learn Hindi.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can teach English or French, Canadian history, hang out with you, I'd even cook for you if you want (although I'm not very good). Just looking to make friends and find a place to stay.
