About Me

I write sins, not tragedies.

Exeter University graduate in Chemistry with a focus in Sustainability, looking for the next big adventure.

Born and raised in Malaysia, I first moved to the UK four years ago in pursuit of that elusive piece of paper that legend has it will give me the means to stop sponging off my parents (i.e. a job).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I need a place to stay in between my main rent bookings for the next couple of months. Basically I've just graduated and I'm in house limbo ; even if you can't take me in any help would be much appreciated!

Interests

In my free time I play music, sing, illustrate, cosplay, and photograph things. I'm currently learning to breakdance, speak German and play the bass.

After a beer or two, I like to talk about:

-music
-anime
-philosophy
-social media trends
-eastern and western cultures
-my alternative experiences

  • culture
  • singing
  • dancing
  • beer
  • anime
  • music
  • guitar
  • chemistry
  • communications

Music, Movies, and Books

I like pretty much all genres of music, even mainstream pop. If you like blues and post-rock though you are automatically elevated to 'Bruh' status. My favorite genres of movies are sci-fi and animation. A book I'm reading currently is a biography of the prophet Muhammad by Karen Armstrong.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to meet Junichi Masuda, the CEO and co-founder of GameFreak while he was in London to promote the latest Pokemon game.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to:

-play guitar like Jack Black
-speak Chinese like a Malaysian
-dance like an octopus
-battle like a Pokemon Master

I would like to learn how to:

-make dishes from another culture
-say hello in a language I don't know
-whistle
-be a better person

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music recommendations, funny anecdotes, a quirky way of looking at life and dance tips =)
